Learn with structure, reflect on what you study and build your understanding over the year.
01Year 1 · Build your foundations
Learn fundamental grammar and a wide range of vocabulary, work through Arabic exercises and develop a basic understanding of Qur’anic verses. Study materials: Madinah Arabic Reader 1 & 2.
02Year 2 · Deepen your understanding
Develop reading of longer passages without harakat, expand vocabulary, study word formation and conjugation, and strengthen fundamental grammar. Study material: Madinah Arabic Series, Volume 2.
03Year 3 · Approach classical texts
Develop reading without harakat, work fully in Arabic and study syntax through a classical grammar text. Study materials: Madinah Arabic Series, Volume 3, and al-Muqaddimah al-Ajurrumiyyah.

Year 1 covers foundations; Year 2 develops longer reading and grammar; Year 3 prepares you for classical texts. Contact the team about your previous study before booking if you are unsure.

What is the weekly commitment?
One 90-minute evening lesson each week over the 36-week programme. Your class day depends on your level.
